Principle of this website

This website is built to minimise data. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no advertising networks and contains no contact form. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN. Visiting this site therefore transfers no data to third parties for their own purposes.

Hosting and server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically records information in server log files that your browser transmits:

• Truncated or full IP address
• Date and time of access
• Page accessed and volume of data transferred
• Browser type, browser version and operating system
• Referrer URL, where transmitted

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. The data is deleted after a short period unless it is needed to investigate a specific security incident. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

Our hosting provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Deutschland. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement is in place with IONOS SE.

If you call or write to us, we process the data you provide in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data as soon as the purpose ceases to apply and no statutory retention periods prevent it; commercial and tax retention periods are six and ten years respectively.

Recipients and third-country transfers

Your data is passed to third parties only where this is necessary to operate the website (hosting) or where we are legally obliged to do so. Under the data processing agreement concluded with us, our hosting provider may engage further processors; these are bound by the same obligations. Processing generally takes place within the European Union or the European Economic Area. Where a transfer to a third country is exceptionally necessary in order to provide the service, it is carried out in accordance with Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). Please use the contact details above.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for our registered office is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Ludwig-Erhard-Strasse 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.

Obligation to provide data

Providing your data is voluntary. Without the technical data recorded in the server log files, delivering the website is technically impossible.
